    Spanish Toddler Teacher

    Eva is originally from Honduras, but has been living in the United States for almost 10 years. Ever since she was very young, she's loved working with children and being a teacher. This is her first year at ISC, and she's very excited to meet everyone and share her Spanish!

    Spanish Toddler Assistant

    Elaine is very excited to start her fourth year at ISC. Elaine has worked in a daycare center in the past and has been a babysitter for some of our students. She is a Systems Engineer but loves working with toddlers. She is super happy to teach children her native Spanish and be part of their education of learning a different language.

    Spanish Toddler Assistant

    Monica (or Monica P as we lovingly call her!) is excited about embarking on her second full year at the ISC. Monica has one child who is attending the ISC in our Spanish Preschool class. She is excited to use her native Spanish with the children and to support your children this upcoming school year!

  • Brielle Pearson

    Spanish Preschool Teacher

    Brielle holds a BSEd in Early Childhood Education and brings with her several years of lead teaching experience in a Montessori-based classroom. She herself attended a Spanish Immersion Program throughout her elementary education and is excited about merging her passion for language with her commitment to holistic education.

    Spanish Preschool Assistant

    Angela (or Miss Angie as the children like to call her!) is in her third year at the ISC. She is very happy to be teaching at the same school that her son attends. She is excited for another year guiding our little learners!

  • Tatiana Yepez

    Spanish Preschool Assistant

    Tatiana is in her second year at the ISC. She is excited to be joining the Spanish Preschool team this year!

  • Hannah Dow

    Spanish Junior Kindergarten Teacher

    Hannah is going into her third year at the ISC. Hannah is a fluent Spanish speaker and just spent 7 weeks in a full immersion program to advance her Spanish over the summer. Hannah has a Bachelors in Arts in Dual Language (French and Spanish) and did a Study Abroad in Spain (in Salamanca). During her studies, she was also a Spanish Teaching Assistant at her college. 

  • Susi Vargas

    Spanish Junior Kindergarten Assistant

    Susi has recently moved here from Florida, where she taught Spanish for over 35 years. Her move to Charlottesville was officially her retirement from teaching full time, but she quickly realized she wanted to keep helping in the classroom. Susi is not only a K-12 licensed educator, but a certified yoga teacher and social-emotional learning facilitator.
