The ISC Extra Care team is a caring, dedicated team of teachers committed to providing a nurturing, fun environment for the children who stay at school for the afternoons. Families who will regularly require Extra Care are encouraged to sign up with their enrollment contract to guarantee a space for the child. Yearly rates for Extra Care reflect a significant discount off of the daily rate.
If you do not need regular Extra Care, you can always sign up on a "drop-in" basis as space allows. Check the sign up sheets outside of the Main Office to see if there is space in your child's class. Drop-in sign up sheets are updated weekly.
Toddlers and Preschoolers have a nap or quiet time following the morning school day and lunch. At about 3:00 pm, some children go home while others join the Pre-K and Kindergarten children to transition to Aftercare with a parent-provided snack. The afternoons are filled with fun activities, LOTS of art and music, and time to play outdoors on the playground. Care is taken to offer age-appropriate experiences for all children in aftercare.
Whether your child attends Extra Care on a regular basis or as-needed, all children are welcome to participate in our after school clubs and activities, but you must sign up in advance. The Extra Care teachers will make sure that your child gets to the correct room for his or her activity on time.

8:00 to 9:00 am, in the French Preschool Classroom
Quiet Time/Nap Time (Toddlers and Preschool)
12:30 to 3:00 pm, in your child's morning classroom
Friday Quiet Time (Pre-K/Kindergarten)
2:00 to 3:00 pm, in your child's regular classroom
Aftercare (all ages)
3:00 to 5:30 pm
