There's always something happening in the afternoons at the ISC!
Current After School programs include:
- Karate Class
- Soccer Club
- Piano lessons
- NEW Sing and Dance in Spanish with Ms. Ali (ages 4-7)
- German Language playgroup: Open to students outside of ISC as well, this group meets with a teacher for about an hour, once a week, to learn and play while developing German language. Ideal for ages 3-6.
- English Phonics classes: Added instruction in English to developing reading and writing skills for older ISC students, as a supplement to the reading and writing instruction in the target language during the school day. Led by Megan Morton, an ISC teacher who has her Masters degree in Education in instruction and specializes in ESOL and literacy development.
Please call the main office (434-984-2174), use the Contact Us form to send us a note, or just stop by school to learn more or sign up. Current students can sign up regardless of whether they are already at school in the afternoons, and After Care students are encouraged to participate but must sign up in advance. The After Care teachers will bring children to their class or lessons and pick them up at the conclusion.
