Alumni classes are a great way for children to reinforce, retain and use the language skills they acquired while attending our school. It is also a wonderful opportunity to spend time with former classmates. Most classes are targeted for children age 7-10, and are open to former ISC students and children with significant experience speaking French and Spanish. Due to the nature of the classes, they are not appropriate for beginners without some background in French or Spanish.
Class offerings change every year and are offered based on demand. For the 2011-2012 school year, we are excited to offer:
- Spanish Reading and Conversation with Jessie (Wednesday afternoons)
- Sing and Dance in Spanish with Ali (Monday afternoons, ages 4-7)
- French Reading and Conversation - for emerging readers, with Sybil (Monday afternoons)
- French Reading and Conversation - advanced, with Sybil (Tuesday afternoons)
- English Phonics with Megan (Friday afternoons)
If you have a particular request for a class, would like more information, or want to sign up, please contact us here or stop by the Main Office. It's not not too late to join in for the current school year!
Alumni Ice Skating Party!
On Thursday, February 16 from 5-6 pm, all ISC alumni and parents are invited to an Ice Skating Party at the Main Street Arena on the Downtown Mall. Kids can skate while parents enjoy wine and light refreshments. A great chance to catch up with old friends. We hope to see you there!
